A pair of cold-hearted crooks swiped more than $100 in cash from a helpless 91-year-old woman after offering to walk her to her Manhattan home, police said.
The elderly woman was around the corner from her apartment on 6th Avenue near West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village at about 4:20 a.m. on March 2 when she took a fall, officials said.
The two unidentified men stopped and offered to help the nonagenarian back to her home, according to authorities.
When they arrived, the woman tried to give the pair $10 for lending a hand — but the suspects noticed she also had a hundred dollar bill in her purse, and snatched both bills.
The callous thieves then fled north on 6th Avenue, cops said.
No arrests have been made.
