This ‘cocktail school’ will come with a unique twist

Want to know what cocktail goes with your bagel, lox and cream cheese?

The Liquor Lab, a “cocktail event space” that opened this month at 138 Wooster St. in SoHo, launches cocktail school classes in January, with lessons in how to prepare cocktail options for all sorts of occasions — like its January class on Brunch Cocktails Paired with Black Seed Bagels.

The Lab was founded by Owen Meyer, of New York’s Wine & Whiskey club.

The two-hour classes, held on weeknights, will be led by mixologist and CCO — “Chief Cocktail Officer” — Freddie Sarkis. Classes start at $55 a person. They include small plate pairings. There’s also a current holiday deal that features a cocktail kit thrown in with the purchase of two classes.
